You also need a tool, such as spanner. Besides this, you also need a glove. Before you install a battery, let the engine cool down. Remove the plastic case that is on the top of the battery. Check for any signs of damage. Also remove battery straps and bar. Use the spanner to disconnect the battery. Disconnect the earth terminal first and then negative terminal. Otherwise you could get a shock. Then remove the power connector. After this, remove the positive terminal. Place the new battery in a position. Attach the positive terminal first. Then attach the earth terminal. Replace the strap and cover and listen to the click when you fit it. Turn on the engine.
